The upward trend continues, and we are just a handful of houses away from having the most number of available homes and condos for sale that we have seen in years!
Can we blame the Holiday weekend? The number of new listings was pretty consistent week-over-week, but we saw a noticeable drop in the number of pending properties. We are 20 condos and 21 houses shy of exceeding our most recent inventory peak levels (in October 2018). If historical trends continue, the number of new listings should keep rising through the end of September. If we don’t have an uptick in pending listings, or a significant decline in the number of new listings, we may see the market continue to trend as more favorable to buyers than we have seen in at least 5 years.
